The reversing light is not ideal, even with a hi-lumen LED globe upgrade. Keep in mind that only the left rear light is active when reversing, the right side is fog (RHD vehicle).
It is relatively easy to remove the red insert in the housing so that both sides could become reversing IF I can re-code the right rear (fog) to come on the same time as the left (reversing).
Summary question:
Is it possible to re-code the rear fog lamp to be a reversing light?
