She was pulled to the side and told not to even try to communicate with me/pretend that I do not exist/don't even make eye contact with me which I will give her credit, she has maintained.
Man, your company sounds like the real-life example of those companies on the HR training videos that handle these situations all wrong. I'd love to send my new HR Specialist to your company for a week of intensive "Don't do it like these guys" training.

That place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
