The only drawback I have found with the low abrasiveness of the Ceramic pads is that they take longer to wear down rust on the disc surface. Not really a problem in day-to-day driving, but in summer I like to hand the was the car and I have found that I need to drive just a kilometer or two to dry the discs off. If I wash and let the car sit overnight, the rust takes some hard braking to remove.
Not a big problem, but so far the only slightly negative thing. ATE do mention this on their website, suggesting a light brake application before parking.
Great braking and wheels that stay clean for miles and miles. The dust is easy to wash off, you don't need aggressive cleaners.
You won't regret switching to ATE Ceramic for road driving.  |
Sounds good! Where did you get your parts from? I have no idea if the parts I found is a good deal, or if better can be had for around the same price
