I know what you mean about LEDs. I think they project light a greater distance, but with less intensity, if you understand what I mean. Best test is with reflective signs on an otherwise unlit road; my sense is with LEDs, you will see these reflect from a greater distance away, but the surrounding detail, not so much. That said, I've been in a couple of 4WDs (proper ones) with LED light bars, and the light they throw out is amazing! A must if you buy a ute, I reckon
Maybe I should take the new 7 series home for a couple of nights. Then again maybe not. Done that before and end up with the car much longer than a couple of nights lol. And yes, less intensity is the right way of describing LEDs.
