For the first part, nice that you got it working with LIM, that was the result that I was looking for when I started this thread. It's much better that nothing.
I don't know actually, might be like what you think. But I think that I've read somewhere that the regular cruise control needs more hardware/sensors for being able to break during downhill slopes and so on. Not sure though.
