In the BMW configurator, you can spec M sport brakes on any 1-series if you have the M-sport package with 17" wheels selected.
The M performance brakes are 18" and state you specifically require 18" rims to be able to fit them.

I just checked some more.
Its possible to fit 17" wheels on the M135i. On my 120d it just impossible with anything less than 18".
I think it is safe to say that the M Performance brakes are bigger than the stock M135i brakes.
