The NFL competition board and the player safety board have removed the essence of defensive football play. That is what has ruined the game. It's now just the NBA on turf; move the ball between the 20's and setup in the redzone to see who can get to the basket. The idea of defense has always been to attempt to take away the football from the offense ON EVERY PLAY. The way to do that is knock the shit out of the guy who has the ball. Google "Ronnie Lott".

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
