Ohhh - I also experienced my 8AT being extra smooth 2-3 days after a +3 hour drive on the highway, the battery disconnect remedy sound like an easier solution though

Maybe clean out all the pollution in China and the car can breath properly it really is a shocker to see this thick pollution. You can find how to on Google, thats right their is no freedom of press there.
