I remember reading somewhere the X1 had a 12v power socket in the passenger foot well but initially I couldn't see it. Anyway....it's there!!
It is underneath the glove box, transmission tunnel side, in line with the foot well light. There is no cover on it so when I initially looked I thought it was just a hole for a fixing...but it's not...and it works
That means we have 4 X 12v sockets (centre console - 1 front and 1 for rear seats, 1 in the luggage compartment, 1 in the passenger foot well). That has saved me a lot of hassle. |
