Hornady, I'am with you, except that I would even buy a car which I deem to be ugly... probably. The 1 is probably still the best value proposition for drivers and the M135i is a real peach.

I'am just mad how BMW ever thought they had to design a mass car with such a controversial design. To me, it feels like they spit in my face for liking BMW and I feel they are testing my loyalty by offering this offending inferior styling.

It feels like a skewed pathological relation, based on SM. I don't believe it's needed nor wanted. They just have to draw a car like many other mass market commodity manufactures can do, that's all I'am asking for (and thousands more).

Now they are forced in a facelift since the new A3, A-Class and Golf are stealing most customers... just because they are not ugly. Really seriously bad job done BMW!
