Eitherway... R8 for me, even if its a V8 lol. I LOVE the i8, and its probably going to hold a better value, but for pure enjoyment purposes I'll take an R8.
Like Jermey said, i8 is the typewriter before the laptop was invented... they're going in the right direction, but its just not there yet.

Without having driven any of the cars myself, based solely on what the cars are on paper, id have to pick the R8.
