if you go in to edit your post, look below the text box and there will be a little check box that says "delete post" or something along those lines. this is an easy way to delete a post without having to leave behind a post that says "DELETED"
Edit> after hitting edit, then go and select "go advanced" then the delete post option will be at the top of the screen....
