I do that too, and it works in comfort mode. You just have to step harder and longer on the throttle to rev up the engine. Since I usually drive in comfort mode (or DSC Off, which also defaults to comfort mapping), I usually overrev the engine when trying to do heel/toe in Sport+ mode. :-)
