Eco Pro wants you to change gears more often than comfort.
I think you get the most out of it with the extended instrument cluster.
Eco Pro also monitors how hard you press the throttle. If you give to much it wants you to lift off.
How much fuel it saves you must me measured. I have no idea. It is probably marginal.
