I agree with nicvw aswell, in eco pro mode the aircon is useless, which means it is more beneficial in summer to drive in comfort mode. I only revert to Sport mode, my favorite
when Im on the free way with some traffic ( In case I need to overtake ) or when I feel like embarrassing a GTI
otherwise on the open road I put it in Eco to save petrol
