Ready to start dating again so I setup a few dates this past weekend. Planned a date for last Sunday few days before that. On Saturday the plans with friends fell through so I set up a meet up with a girl for drinks. Was double booked that night but left early. Didn’t go well. She looked older in real life than pictures. Also, was pretty boring to talk to. Ended up eat a light dinner together but I knew I wasn’t interested in pursuing. Messaged her today saying as such and she agreed we didn’t really connect.
The Sunday date was much better. Picked her up in the afternoon, went to a local winery to have drinks and chatted for hours, went on a nice drive in the twisties and stopped at the top to look at Silicon Valley below. Then went to dinner. She ordered the dish I suggested and loved it. Couldn’t stop gushing over it. Dropped her off at the end and she said she had a great time. I said I’d like to see her again soon and she said yes.
