Is this true or is the policy different from dealer to dealer. I read another dealers site saying anyone over 21 can get a loaner.

Help? Thanks.

Edit: Don't want to bad mouth them because they were helpful and if that's their policy then I can't argue with it, but I'm now driving a VW Passat with and engine that jerks every time I tap the gas. I just think it's unfair to me? If it's the policy then there nothing I can do, but I'm not naming the dealer in good faith that they aren't just screwing me because I hadn't bought my car at their dealership.

Also, this is in NYC.
true for all NY dealers, when i was 19 i bought a new volvo and was considering suiting the dealer for refusing giving me a loaner. they ended up paying for the same car from a rental place but still very frustrating
