Hi, i'm doing this kind of retrofit on my friend's car, i havent finish it, but here's the step im doing last week:
1. Check either your old controller is connected to KCAN1 or KCAN2 From factory, to differentiate it K-CAN wires are green and orange and K-CAN2 wires are yellow-red and yellow-brown. If your car has KCAN1, it should need another module to plug the controller. since my friend's car has KCAN2 from factory, so i didnt look the module.
2.Minimum build date (Zeitkriterium) of your car to be 07/13
3. The NBT needs to be flashed to at least 50.4 psdzdata.
4. Some coding in HU NBT
HU_NBT/3000_HMI/ZBE_TOUCH_INTERACTIVE_MAP set to aktiv
HU_NBT/3000_HMI/ZBE_TOUCH_SPELLER set to aktiv
HU_NBT/3000_HMI/ZBE_TOUCH_BROWSER set to aktiv
HU_NBT/3004_SYSTEM/EINSTELLUNGEN/ZBE_TOUCH set to aktiv
