Well, I'm convinced the GTI is the better buy for the average person for all the reasons you state before. It is and was the better
allround car.
But if your top priority is driving pleasure I don't think the Golf comes close.
I wonder if it matters though. In the end, I think the majority of people will buy an F20 just for the badge.
