Have a look underneath at the nearside tailpipe & you'll see the electrical wire that goes to the motor that sits on top of the tailpipe.
It's quick & easy enough to unplug the connector which you can then tuck out of the way & take the car for a drive to confirm or not that this is causing your noise.
