Thanks, there are interesting other data visible; for instance flexibility (in-gear acceleration) results are pretty impressive, mostly due to 8-gear set up. On the other hand, while it can stop from 100 km/h pretty well, that stopping distance data from 200 km/h is incredibly longer than what 1M did in Sport Auto test (just 133 m. to a full stop compared to more than 145.6 for xdrive M135i, that difference is a huge truck or a school bus). It is also a heavier car than I thought would be, at 1591 kg. which is similar to or a bit heavier than a E92 M3 weight (manual E92 M3 was quoted 1580 kg. by BMW-EU norm weight- with base equipment).
About the Ring times, actually 1M track times are generally not that off of F10 M5 times, in Top Gear track 1M did even better, it still holds the best time by any BMW; similar results, usually slightly slower than the M5 on German race tracks. The claim was by Advevo, a pro race driver who has 2 1Ms, so I don't know if it can make a sub 8 or not but I m pretty sure that it can make better than 8.15 and not by a few seconds. The thing is we will probably never know
