M135i 0-100km: 4.9, 0-160km: 11.5, 0-200km: 18.1, Hockenheim: 1.15.7
If that data is correctly quoted from Sport Auto, I am surprised that an xDrive M135i is not faster than the rwd, not even to 100 km/h despite advantages of awd and launch control, and actually slower after that! BMW advertised that it should be faster about 0.2 seconds to 100, faster than both M135i and 1M and a manual M3.

For reference, the same data for 1M from Sport Auto test was:

0-100 km/h: 4.7, 0-160km: 10.6, 0-200km: 17.2, Hockenheim: 1.14.1

Despite its weight and manual gear box, and not forgetting that stock tires were PS2 with way less grip than PSS, there seem to be enough extra power in the 1M vs. the Mperformance hatches to stay ahead and pull harder with increasing speed, let alone a significantly better time on Hockenheim. Go figure how they managed only 8.15 on the Ring while it seems to have capability of doing it at least 10 seconds quicker if not more (7.45 BTG time in traffic by Advevo for instance, he seems to be convinced that stock car can do sub 8 seconds for a full lap). Who would believe that a Megane RS could do Ring quicker than a 1M while it can't even get close on any other track or performance category! BMW really used the 1M just for advertising future turbo performance cars, as a short lived halo car which was almost not possible to buy for most, at the same time carefully avoiding actual M3 owners feel intimidated.

Just thinking loud on yet another piece of evidence, got no issues with M3 or M135i, in fact love them all but it is really irritating how BMW played underrating policy against one of its best creations. Every single number advertised about this car was way off from reality. It really seems to be a garage project of a bunch of enthusiast M Division engineers.
