It seems to me that Sport just doesn't use the higher gears seems like a wanton waste of fuel to me, hence Comfort. That, and Sport makes it impossible to keep to the speed limit.

I also use Sport and Sport 'manual' paddles whilst driving in and around town, but once I get on the freeway or an open road, I switch between Sport and Comfort (to save fuel).
Flick it back to Sport (up to 6th gear) if some brisk overtaking is required
