I don't see a problem with staying in contact with an ex, as long as there is nothing going on. One of my ex's is my bookkeeper and has access to all my finances. It's not been a problem for over twenty years. We're still good friends. |
I think your case is an outlier (….
there's a professional reason for the contact) and so is that perspective, but every relationship defines its terms…..but if it works for you?!?? Generally speaking, I don't think it's a good idea and most people would feel uncomfortable with exes still hanging around……for the sake of just being around.
