According to the latest Roundel, Nov 2010, BMW will be bringing out a 4 cyl, front wheel drive car in the next 24 - 30 months. If this gets labeled 1 series, then the present 1 series can be relabeled 2 series. This opens the door to 2002 type styling and variants.
