Comparing Mx35i to M3/4 says a lot about how good the Mx35i is out of the box. You get what you pay for, the M-lite has its flaws and if you can afford an M3/4, then great, go for it..
I visited Birds, had my M135i chassis fettled [springs/ARB's and LSD] and oem chassis foibles sorted. Then added some more oomph with Jb4 stg2. Saved myself a fortune.
Had an M3 for an extended test drive. Lovely in isolation but not so great against my fettled m135i.
