Nav does not ask for activation key after MAP update
My car with professional nav came with the Premium 2010 Europe maps preinstalled. 2 weeks ago I bought the 2011 update (about 20Eur) and an activation key (160eur) from the dealer.
However, the nav system did not ask for this activation key at all. The maps are installed fine and the system acknowledged that maps 2011 are installed.
It this common now ?
Next time, I only get myself the set of DVDs
