Has someone tried to replace the door lock actuator for F20?

When I tried to replace the door lock actuator of the front driver side, I found a short white plastic stick dropped in the door.
The part is not seen in the diagram of F20 part in realoem.com.

After replacing the actuator, I found the stick is too short to bridge between the actuator and key cylinder.
How can I connect the key cylinder and the actuator?
In many BMWs, the key cylinder has the stick and directly connects to the actuator, but F20 uses gear wheels and the wheels rotate the stick to the actuator.
