Why the hell hasn't he apologized yet? You don't even have to go into anything lengthy. Send her a text saying "Sorry.". She'll know exactly what you're talking about and text you back to talk about it.
This way if you're scared shitless or your apology is inarticulate, she'll be the one to start the convo. MAN-UP OP!
