Yes, that's certainly an option if I do need to draw out the system, and thanks for the reply. I'm kinda hoping I don't have to though. I've seen a youtube video of an N47 in a 3 series and that had the compressor pulled aside without having to de-gas the air con. I'm really hoping it's the same for mine because when I get to that point in the engine removal it won't be drivable.
