I use it all the time in my M2 and X7 and wouldn't want to live without it. My kids are growing out of the M2, and M3 was on the short list for replacement. Removal is disappointing, but what's janky about it? |
BMW's wireless charger mostly just heats up the phone and only charges very slowly. There are many threads on here about it.
Not sure if they're discontinuing it due to the poor performance or COVID supply-chain issues, but either way you're not missing anything in its current form.
Hopefully they find a better version post-COVID.
