first of all I'll present myself. I'm from Uruguay and i'm about to buy a 2nd hand 2018 120i Msport LCI2 with 45k kms
. It will be a dream come true after much effort considering cars here are crazy expensive.
The doubt I have regarding the transmission is the following. Does the 120i LCI2 also have the ZF8HP or is it the Aisin AWF8F35?
To me it seems pretty obvious it is the ZF 8HP but there's a blog here stating the it's the Aisin one. I looked in plenty places to confirm this but could not find proof.
I doubt it is the Aisin one given it seems to be for transversally mounted engines, not longitudinally like the F20 and for FWD, not RWD.
