i've recently gotten a F20 116D.
loving everything about it, cept the hassle to mount a bike rack. was looking around and seems like the tow hitch bike rack is something i would like to explore.
anyone has any experience with this?
i am checking on the older version of the tow hitch made for E87 by CURT (model 11184), thinking of modding it to fit on the F20. i found one that would work with the F20 but it is with a towball, instead of a 1 1/4" or 2" receiver.
i don't have any sort of measurements (on the long horizontal bar if it would fit), i tried contacting both CURT and Schmiedmann. no replies. i'm THIS close to ordering the 11184 just to give it a shot.
sidenote, i'm in singapore. so i would have to import everything and THEN find someone to install it. don't have access to tools to measure or check anything.
