Now i am paying for that...eventually it comes down to Turbocharged engine with higher pressures and dissipating heat in the engine bay.
The vent screw on the coolant just broke when i tried to remove it for replacement.

We often forget that the harder we work an engine, the faster parts wear and/or deteriorate. More extreme heat cycles will place greater stress on parts, (particularly plastics), the price is reduced longevity.

Even running more revs and heat over a given mileage, can reduce the life of things like water and vacuum pumps.
