Your engine sounds "legit" to me: I can't hear anything wrong.
But I am not an expert: I never really bother to listen to it outside of the cabin (windows closed
), only occasionally.
The N13 engine is notorious for unattractive, "diesel" sound, especially when it's cold (not at operating temperature).
