Turns out that a bolt in the flap that controls its motion was broken. It can't be repaired so they have to order a whole new exhaust from Germany which will take 2 weeks. I asked if they can just unplug it and they said they don't know what it will do to the car if they do. Something about emissions control and putting the car into limp mode? Sounds like they are just talking crap cos they have no idea. I might just unplug it and see how I go.
Thoughts? Does the flap perform a critical task or is it just noise control?
