18x18 ET43 - What tire size?

I am in search of new wheels and have selected 18x8 et 43 rims. My question is which tire size I will choose.
I have two options.
1. 235/40 on all fours.
or
2. 225/40 front and 245/35 rear.
My plan was to run 245 on all four but it could rub and need spacers so i skipped it.
Today I have 225 on 17x8 rims but I think they are a little too stretched and that the rim edge stands out a little too much. The original 18" rims run on the second option but the front rims are 7.5x18 and thats why the edge doesnt stick out that much.
My question now is what you would choose?
