Besides, the 2-series is heavily overprized compared the 1-series for no practical reasons. It is just about exclusivity and image.

Sorry but you are confusing 5 dr FWD hatchbacks with the 1 series. Indeed the short doors are easier to open in a tight space (like my garage) but that's about the only benefit.
