There is an extreme price difference between the MANN Filter Set and the BMW Original Filter Set in my area. %65

Looks like I'm going to get a Mann Filter Set and maintain it.
You're welcome!

It looks like BMW uses different manufacturers, Valeo for the cabin filter in particular. The cabin filter should be the most expensive in the set. I looked up the price:

https://www.amazon.com/Activated-Car.../dp/B00DZLJM6O

(converted it into your currency to compare). They must add some gold into it to justify the difference! And it's no cheaper in my area either.

By the way, there are also different cabin filter technologies available. You compare correctly, "activated carbon filter" in both cases. Just notice that there's even a better technology available ("activated carbon filter with polyphenol", "with antibacterial action" ) in case you need it:

https://catalog.mann-filter.com/EU/e...00000000148600).

When I had my car serviced last summer there was a gift, wiper blades(?), offered by BMW with that "super" cabin filter, but it wasn't in stock.

The Mann version of the "super" filter is quite more expensive than Valeo at the UK merchant referenced above:
