Quite definitely, provided you peck the rev. limiter every time anyway.
I mean you might find it useful to either ease the throttle when declutching (to preserve those parts) or pick the benefit of going flat out - otherwise you seem to torture both the engine and the clutch just for nothing (the arm jumps but the car does not).
