Sometimes love finds you when you're not looking. I thought I'd be single for the rest of my life and was OK with that. Anyway, I ran into a friend from grammar school while helping plan a reunion. He asked me out when we were in 6th grade. It went full circle 40 years later. He tells me we wasted 40 years but I think our life experiences made us who we are today. We both had to make the mistakes that led us here. We weren't ready for each other back then. You never know what's around the corner. |
