There are two options,

M-Sport Suspension and Adaptive M-Sport Suspension.

My understanding is that M-Sport Suspension is a fixed lowered suspension setup. Adaptive M-Sport Suspension is altered in line with what driving mode you have selected.

I would guess in ECO & Comfort you get a more comfortable ride, in sport & sport +, it reverts to M-Sport boneshaker mode!

I didn't put it on my new F20 but if i had i'd have gone for adaptive. The suspension in my 120i M-Sport, while fun and adding to the sporty look, gets old on the daily commute.
