Generally, if the tyre/wheel rim is visible outside the line of the body work, then you should expect there to be rubbing/fouling if you lower the suspension. This can be prevented by using a high wheel offset, or having the bodyguards rolled to accommodate the current wheel/tyre combination. Of course, you could also fit suspension with bump stops that prevent the level of compression that would foul the bodywork....but I'm thinking such suspension would not offer very good handling OR ride!
