As the year winds down and the holiday season is upon us, let us know your preferred wines and wine accessories.

My preference is for cabernet / blends from Napa, with Brunello a close second. We also enjoy Chilean cabernet / blends. I don’t really like white wine, but my wife is ok with it. We’ll serve a couple of nice bottles on Christmas Eve with dinner but also have some everyday wines on hand for before dinner.

We have a modest collection of about 50 bottles in 2 smaller EuroCave cellars (wine refrigerators). I keep track of our better wines using CellarTracker and also use an app, CorkageFee, to try to find corkage fees before I head out to a restaurant.

We have been to Napa a couple of times but not in many years - highly recommended trip.

Anyway, what are your preferences and suggestions for others? Types of wine, producers / brands, vintages, accessories, etc.?
