At this point, the G60 (5 series sedan), G90 (M5 sedan) and the G99 (M5 touring) are on the table for the US, but not the G61 (5 series touring).
So now either BMW lied to us and could have always brought the G81 (M3 touring) stateside, or they realized there is demand and designed/built the base G61 in such a way that (even though they don't bring it to the US) they can homologate the M5 touring (G99) without major issues in the US. |
I am wondering if the price premium on the G99 will be crazy just because of that.
