OMC - (sorry for wrong badge !)

agree - diffs on an x-drive would yield ltd or no value. Works v well on RWD with more grunt especially. Not even sure if BMW retrofit is offered for x drive. I may be wrong but x-drive is configured to move power towards the front axle if sensing slip at the rear. Impacting of how x-drive behaves when any initial slippage is checked by rear LSD would need to be understood more fully.

Likewise agree on the tyres std fit Mich PSS's are superb + I have used Conti WS 830 as winters for a few winters on BMW's past and present. Also good.

Springs I chose were H&R sport springs and Birds ARB's. Both work well with adaptive damping on my car. Makes more of the amazing grip levels of MPSS's.

You may to hold off on JB4 as BMS are likely to offer a dedicted EWG JB4 unit and simplier, EWG specific harness in the v near future.
