In an emergency, it is even possible to use the rear hatch as exit/entry.
A larger front door is not really helping when going in and out up front, as the front seats are not behind the B-pillar anyway. If you want access to the rear seat, the rear doors are of course a lot more practical than the larger front doors.
I agree about the sporty looks. Sport cars should look unpractical.
