I'll admit I didn't quite pick up on the "R" and was thinking more the standard GT...but still there's no way a turbo charged V8 with its turbo lagged throttle response and muted sound can compare in viscerality to the GT3 with its NA sound and direct immediate throttle response and crazy rush to redline, so i think the OP still has to decide what sort of experience he is looking for, but agree the best way to figure out is to drive em.
