Change engine. Two questions - gearbox - battery
I am about to change the engine of my 116i 2012. Is it easiest to pull out both engine and gearbox (manual) as a unit? It seems to be incredibly hard to reach the top bolts to the bellhousing with the engine in place. Also do I need to disconnect the battery to do this? One guy I met say everything must be reprogrammed if battery is disconnected for more than 13 minutes. True?
