One has been their cylinder bore for their sports cars. They've managed to make some good engines despite it, but they've been unwilling to change it for mass production. The other is they simply don't put the same resources into performance vehicles in the same way. They'd rather have raptor trucks. That's probably a better decision from a business standpoint. There was a time where they had the Fiesta and Focus ST and RS models, in addition to Mustangs, but they never seem to have this stuff for very long and it just evaporates. They played with the Ford GT, but that wasn't really like a production model, just a limited concept. They don't seem to do stuff like CTS-Vs, V-blackwings, multiple 2-door sports cars, etc. They build everything on the Mustang.
